Richard L. Eyles
Richard L. “Rick” Eyles, 59, of Jackson Township passed away Thursday while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.
He was born Dec. 23, 1953, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of Harvey W. Eyles of Harmony and Margaret (Jackson) Kramer of Zelienople.
Rick was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. More recently, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and riding his motorcycle. He was one of the founding members and lead singer of The Artifacts, a band he and his friends established many years ago.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his adoring wife of 39 years, Marie (DiNardo) Eyles, who he married Sept. 29, 1973; his two loving children, Amanda Eyles and her companion, Brian Bigger, of Zelienople and Richard L. Eyles II and his wife, Ashley, of Vermilion, Ohio; his sister, Judith Minetti and her husband, Ralph, of Port Orange, Fla.; his brother, Edwin W. Eyles of Harmony; his stepmother, Barbara Eyles of Harmony; his aunt, Patricia “Jean” Kohler and her husband, Raymond, of Zelienople; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rick was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Kramer.
EYLES — The family of Richard L. “Rick” Eyles, who died Thursday, March 7, 2013, will welcome friends on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 4 p.m. at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Robert A.
