Roy Bailey

Roy Bailey of Karns City will celebrate his 100th birthday with a family dinner on Saturday at the Fairview Township Municipal Building in Karns City.

Bailey was born in New Athens, Clarion County, on April 4, 1913. He married the late Gladys McCanna and the late Mary Binkard.

He has four children, Earl Bailey, Kathleen Beilstien and Eileen Easley, all of Karns City, and Clarence Clark of Mercer.

He also has 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Bailey is retired from the United Mine Workers of America and Koppers Chemical Co. of Petrolia.

Bailey enjoys traveling, hunting and fishing.
