Sandra and Gary Smith

Gary and Sandra Smith of Karns City celebrated 50 years of marriage with a lunch buffet at Conley Resort in Butler.

Smith married the former Sandra Poole on March 2, 1963, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Greensburg, Pa.

They have four children, Terri Geary of Latrobe, Pa., Gary Smith of Martinez, Ga., Jeffrey Smith of Petrolia and Todd Smith of Grove City.

They also have 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Smith is retired.

Mrs. Smith is a teacher at Sugarcreek Elementary, Karns City School District.

The Smiths are members of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Chicora.
