10:22 p.m. Tuesday — Police cited two people following a domestic dispute at a home on Valley Street. Ashley Spare, 26, and Jessie Boggs, 19, both of Butler, are charged with harassment. Boggs also is charged with underage drinking.
10:59 p.m. Sunday — Lindsay Kleeman, 18, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8. Police said she also was cited for driving without a license and driving with an expired registration.12:36 p.m. Sunday — Betty McCann, 50, of Cheswick, Allegheny County, was hurt when she lost control of her car on the slush, struck an embankment and overturned at Glade Run Road and Route 228.McCann, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with minor injuries. Police said she was cited for driving too fast for conditions.3:30 p.m. Jan. 30 — An apparent dispute between two Mars High School students ended with one teenager attacking the other with a baseball bat outside a Route 8 convenience store.The victim, an 18-year-old Valencia man who police did not identify, needed hospital treatment for minor head injuries.A 16-year-old Valencia boy, who police did not identify, is charged in Butler County juvenile court with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment in the attack. He allegedly struck the older teen twice in the head with the bat.The two, while at the high school, had earlier agreed to meet at the Co-Gos store.The 18-year-old was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry with bruising and swelling to the head.
6:30 p.m. Wednesday — Adrienne M. Hurd, 31, of Butler and Cindy Lee Anderson, 32, of Clay Township were arrested following an alleged drug deal on Third Avenue in Butler. Officers searched the women and found 24 stamp bags of suspected heroin, marijuana and other drug contraband.Both suspects are charged with possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance, conspiracy and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Hurd is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and Anderson is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.Hurd and Anderson, following arraignment, were placed in the Butler County Prison on $75,000 and $25,000 bail, respectively.
10:30 a.m. Thursday — Two people were hurt when sport utility vehicles driven by Carol M. Chmielewski, 50, of Harrisville and Anna L. Youngs, 48, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 8 near South Mercer Street in Harrisville.Youngs and her passenger, Brittany A. Parke, 21, of Slippery Rock, suffered minor injuries. Police said Chmielewski was cited for improperly entering the road.12:02 a.m. Thursday — Brittany J. Kelsea, 19, of Valencia was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in the parking lot of the Rummy Mart on South Main Street in Chicora.6:30 a.m. Tuesday — Archie W. Mann II, 25, of Karns City was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a 25-year-old Butler woman during an argument at an apartment on Rottman Road, Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.Mann was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail on $5,000 bail.9:42 a.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Stefan Lingenfelter, 42, of Renfrew crashed into a building owned by Automotive Excellence on Route 38 near Route 58 in Eau Claire.
1:40 a.m. today — Berton E. Colton Jr., 42, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 268 and Westgate Drive in East Franklin Township.3:35 p.m. Wednesday — A minivan driven by Heather A. Barden, 22, of Kittanning rear-ended a pickup truck on Route 66 just north of Pleasantview Drive in Manor Township. Police said Barden was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Kevin M. Rupp, 47, of Ford City was driving the pickup.10:36 p.m. Tuesday — Sheryl L. Cousins, 41, of Ford City was hurt when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle and struck a tree along snow-covered Muskrat Slide Road just west of Route 422 in Plumcreek Township. Cousins, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh with minor injuries. Police said she was cited for driving too fast for conditions.6 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Teresa Drzemiecki, 49, of Kittanning hit an embankment and overturned after sliding off ice-covered Glade Run Road in North Buffalo Township.10:22 a.m. Monday — Linford A. Toy, 65, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his SUV rolled over and hit a guardrail at Clearfield Pike and Valley View Drive in Rayburn Township.Toy, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to ACMH Hospital near Kittanning with moderate injuries. He was later transferred to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.7:15 p.m. Saturday — Daniel F. McAuley, 47, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his vehicle got stuck in the grass medial on Route 28 between exits 16 and 17 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.3:34 p.m. Saturday — Daniel J. Damore, 24, of Butler lost control of his pickup truck, fishtailed and crashed into a guardrail on Route 28 just north of Saxonburg Road in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. Police said Damore was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10:55 a.m. Jan. 31 — Christy Hunter, 45, of Worthington was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Graff Farm Road and Route 422 in West Franklin Township.7:20 a.m. Jan. 31 — A pickup driven by Kimberly Hess, no age given, of Ford City crashed into an embankment after sliding off ice-covered Route 422 about four-tenths of a mile west of West Hills Extension in East Franklin Township.1:43 a.m. Jan. 13 — David J. Schrecengost, 41, of Kittanning was arrested for DUI on Route 66 in Manor Township.
