KC girls wrap up D-9 playoff berth
Emily LoPresti scored 16 points and the Karns City girls basketball team overcame a slow start to topple Clarion-Limestone and clinch a District 9 Class AA playoff spot with a 38-24 win Friday night.
The Gremlins (11-6) struggled in the first half, scoring just 14 points. The defense, though, held C-L to a mere eight points at the break.
