The Walshes in 1962

Douglas and Lois Walsh of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows on Dec. 29 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Herman and with a dinner party at the Herman Fire Hall.

Walsh married the former Lois Schnur on Dec. 29, 1962, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

They have seven children, Douglas Walsh of Seattle, Gregory Walsh of Fairfax, Va., James Walsh of Denver, Laura Menelaws of Sag Harbor, N.Y., Timothy Walsh of West Lafayette, Ind., Mary Weiss of Boston and Matthew Walsh of Cranberry Township.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

Walsh is self-employed.

Mrs. Walsh is retired from the Seneca Valley School District.

The Walshes are members of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.
