CourtneyHandte graduated with a 4.0 from Salisbury University with a master’s of education in educational leadership.
She is a special education teacher specialist at Colonel Richardson Middle School in Federalsburg, Md.
Handte is a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School, a 2002 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 2006 graduate of California (Pa.) University.
She lives in Hurlock, Md., with her husband Scott Handte and their two children.
Handte is the daughter of Lorene Rudolph of Saxonburg and Mark Rudolph of Butler.

Matthew Lucas and Rebecca Ray, both of Sarver, and Andrew Lefever and Shane Swigart, both of Saxonburg, all graduated from Westminster College.
Lucas, who majored in business administration, is the son of William and Connie Lucas and a graduate of Freeport Area High School.
Ray, who majored in international politics and Spanish, is the daughter of Gary and Kathleen Ray and a graduate of Knoch High School.
Lefever, who majored in history, is the son of John and Laura Lefever and a graduate of Knoch High School.
Swigart, who majored in international politics, is the son of Shawn Wood and John Swigart and a graduate of Knoch High School.
