Freeport boys earnwin over Valley

Robbie Miller scored 13 points and the Freeport boys basketball team put the game away with a stifling defensive effort in the second half for a 45-31 section win Tuesday night.

The Yellowjackets (6-7, 3-5) outscored Valley 10-1 in the third quarter to break the game open.

Fred Pastoria added 11 points for the Yellowjackets.
