1:47 a.m. Saturday — Mickey Fazzino, 38, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped for speeding on Route 422.7:58 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Sylvia Kuhn, 65, of Butler rear-ended another vehicle on New Castle Road near Kings Restaurant. Raymond Geibel, 65, of New Castle was the other driver.

5 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Michael L. Schrager, 20, of Carnegie, Allegheny County, struck a tree after sliding off snow-covered Stoughton Road just southeast of Crocker Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Schrager was cited for making an improper turn.7:30 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by James M. Carter, 40, of New Castle struck a tree along Stoughton Road just southeast of Crocker Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Carter was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.2:54 p.m. Jan. 14 — Joseph W. O'Brien, 22, of Fenelton was hurt when a vehicle struck his car on Route 173 at Sanderson Drive in Brady Township. O'Brien, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries.The other driver, Tiffany N. Kerry, 21, of Portersville, was cited for making an improper left turn, according to a police report.
