The Crattys in 1963

Clair and Peggy Cratty of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 12 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 2251 Prospect Road, Prospect.

Cratty married the former Peggy Gibson on Jan. 12, 1963, at First Baptist Church.

They have four children, James Cratty and Janet Murphy, both of Butler, Jodi Boory of Prospect and Judy Stoops of West Sunbury.

They also have four grandchildren.

Cratty is a farmer.

Mrs. Cratty is a homemaker.

The Crattys are members of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
