Mars, Knoch, SV girls win at home

Ali Goetz (19 points) and Sara Getsy (14) combined for 33 points as Mars' girls basketball team defeated visiting Kittanning 50-46 Thursday night.

The win improves the Planets to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in section play.

Butler's boys and girls varsity teams rolled to 7-0 victories over Karns City Wednesday.Garrett Sexton rolled a 203-600 and Matthew Blose a 211-585 to pace the Golden Tornado boys. Brea Suchonic rolled a 203-566 and Autumn Hepler a 203-532 to lead the girls victory.
