4:57 p.m. Saturday — Michael W. Roman, 36, of Slippery Rock faces drug-related charges after he was arrested on a bench warrant in the 400 block of North Jackson Street.A search of Roman, according to a police report, turned up two red stamp bags, marked “Got Smart,” containing suspected heroin.Additionally, he was found with eight empty stamp bags, some marked “True” and others stamped with the Los Angeles Lakers logo. Police said he also had a hypodermic needles.Roman was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant. He also faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

5:41 a.m. Saturday — Kaylin J. McClelland, 19, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on New Castle Road in front of Grand Rental Station in Butler Township.Dec. 20 — An unknown thief cut the locks of tool boxes and made off with $700 in tree-cutting equipment from the parking lot at Route 38 and Glenwood Way in Center Township. The property, owned by Davie Tree Service in Kent, Ohio, included chain saws, climbing saddles, ropes, spikes, hand saws and yellow safety bags.The theft happened between 5 p.m. Dec. 19 and 10 a.m. Dec. 20.Dec. 18 — An unknown thief stole 14 duffel bags from Camo Corner Inc. at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. The property, valued at $560, was stolen over two days, Dec. 17 and 18.

8:56 p.m. Sunday — Michael Zilla, 34, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 at the Route 28 south exit in East Franklin Township.4:55 a.m. Saturday — Shana Stiehler, 36, of East Brady was arrested for suspicion of DUI after she was found passed out in the driver's seat of her car on Ferry Street on East Brady.A police report said East Brady volunteer firefighters initially found Stiehler asleep behind the wheel of the car on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township. Firefighters were able to awake her but she sped away, police said. Troopers later found her in nearby East Brady.11:18 p.m. Thursday — Laverne Wissinger Jr., 55, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 28 near the Pittsburgh Mills Mall in Frazier Township, Allegheny County.10:40 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Dustin K. Slagle, 19, of Ford City crashed into a guardrail at Route 28 and Iron Bridge Road in South Buffalo Township. Police said Slagle was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
