Bernice and Joseph Scobbo

Joseph and Bernice Scobbo of Crown celebrated 65 years of marriage with a card shower. Cards can be mailed to P.O. Box 18, Route 66, Crown, PA 16220.

Scobbo married the former Bernice Schimborski on Dec. 30, 1947, in St. Joseph Church in Mount Oliver.

They have four children, Joseph Scobbo Jr. of Palm Coast, Fla., Judy DeLowry of Hilliards, Bernice Howell of Gibsonia and the late Marie Steinsdoerfer.

They also have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Scobbo is a retired bricklayer. Mrs. Scobbo is a retired crossing guard.

She belongs to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Farmington Township Fire Department.

The Scobbos are members of St. Mary’s Church in Crown.
