Rockets win big, 72-18

The Slippery Rock girls basketball team rolled to a 34-4 lead after the first quarter in a season-opening 72-18 rout of Lakeview at the West Middlesex Tip-Off Tournament on Friday.

Haley Angerett and Nicole Papley tallied 18 points apiece for the Rockets, while Morgan Siebka added 13. Marissa Siebka also scored in double figures with 11.

Macy Smolic was the only other Yellowjacket in double figures with 11 points as the hosts advanced to the Freeport Tournament championship.
