2:05 p.m. Tuesday — Janet Manfred of Butler reported an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle while it was parked behind her house at 425 W. New Castle St. between Friday and Tuesday.Tuesday — Cassia Strain, 39, of Burgettstown in Washington County was cited for writing a bad check to the Butler County Recorder of Deeds for $39.50.6:28 p.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Thomas Lavorini, 61, of Butler backed into a car driven by Michael Ogle, 58, of Oren, Utah, on New Castle Street.3:47 a.m. Nov. 24 — Raheem Jamar Robinson, 21, no known address, was charged with simple assault after allegedly hitting Megan Nicole Maksin, 20, of Butler in the face and head outside My Buddies Bar on Pillow Street. Following the incident, Maksin had a bruised jaw, cut upper lip and a lump on the top of her head. The former couple have children together. Robinson was arrested by sheriff's deputies on Tuesday. He was jailed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $7,500 bail.

9:30 a.m. Thursday — Cathy Irene Holby, 61, of Butler was charged with criminal attempt theft by deception, false reports, unsworn falsification to authorities, theft by deception and receiving stolen property after allegedly filing a false report that her bank credit/debit card and checks were used fraudulently.

6:52 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Michelle Schnur, 52, of Butler and a pickup driven by Rodney O'Donnell, 52, of Butler collided at the intersection of Routes 68 and 38. Schnur and O'Donnell's passenger, Benjamin Pascazi Jr., 73, of Butler received minor injuries. The East Butler and Lick Hill volunteer fire departments assisted at the scene.5:55 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Barbara Dutch, 61, of New Kensington and an SUV driven by Francis Kriley, 63, of Fenelton collided at the intersection of Route 356 and Bonniebrook Road in Jefferson Township. Dutch was cited for a stop sign violation.5:17 p.m. Tuesday — An unknown vehicle sideswiped an SUV driven by Gregory Linville, 50, of Ellwood City on Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township before fleeing the scene. The vehicle should have driver's side damage, including burgundy paint from the SUV.2:21 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup driven by Robert Kowalsky, 52, and a car driven by Ronald Brain, 27, of Harrisville collided on Harmony Road in Mercer Township. Both drivers and Brain's passenger, Anastasia Brain, 25, received minor injuries. Kowalsky was cited for crossing the middle of the road.Monday — Gary McCall of Clinton Township reported the theft of a cast-iron tub, two tractor wheel weights, a black three-point quick hitch, four I-beams, four timing gears, three wheel wrenches and one solid square bar, worth a total of $700, from his property at 104 Spring Valley Road between Sunday and Monday.Monday — Jacqueline Porter of Connoquenessing Township reported an unknown vehicle knocking down her mailbox at 175 Cupps Road between 5 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.10 p.m. Oct. 13 — Clayton R. Lee, age unavailable, of West Liberty was charged with aggravated assault after allegedly attacking Dale E. Yarger, also of West Liberty, at 143 Church Road in the borough. Yarger had injuries to his face and eye.

2:18 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Christeene Conner, 26, of Rimersburg hit an embankment off Lawsonham Road in Madison Township and rolled several times before coming to a stop on its roof. She received moderate injuries.
