Annabelle and Gerald “Joe” Soose

Gerald “Joe” and Annabelle Soose of Butler celebrated their 80th birthdays with a card party. Cards can be mailed to 104 Swamp Run Road, Butler, PA 16001.

The former Annabelle Webb was born on Sept. 30, 1932. Gerald Soose was born on Nov. 2, 1932.

They married July 9, 1965, at Unionville United Presbyterian Church.

They have one daughter, Crystal Soose of Butler.

They also have three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

Soose is retired from Army Reserves 319th Engineering with more than 40 years in the military. He is the owner of Soose’s Salvage and Recycling.

Mrs. Soose retired as director of housekeeping and laundry at Butler Memorial Hospital after 43 years.

The Sooses are members of Unionville United Presbyterian Church.
