Mizerak 50th anniversary
Bill and Gerry Mizerak of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church and with a party on Oct. 6 at Heritage Hall in the Days Inn.
Mizerak married the former Geraldine Zukauckas on Nov. 17, 1962, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Richeyville.
They have three children, Louise Mizerak Rathbun of York, Bill Mizerak II of Oil City and Valent Mizerak of Kittanning.
They also have six grandchildren.
Mizerak is retired from the Butler School District after 38 years. He is a member of several sports leagues such as Lakevue Tennis, North Allegheny County Senior Softball League, Husband/Wife Casino League bowling and SSS Golf League.
Mrs. Mizerak is a retired medical technician She is also a member of the Husband/Wife Casino League bowling and the Red Hats’ Red Bonnets and Bifocals.
The Mizeraks are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, where Mizerak is a Eucharistic Minister.
They enjoy dancing and traveling throughout the world.
