Mark and Jean Lansinger of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at The Hardwood Cafe.

Lansinger married the former Jean Purnell on Dec. 1, 1962, at Corpus Christi Church in Pittsburgh.

They have four children, Michael of Annapolis, Md., Eric of Pittsburgh, Karla of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Martha of Miami.

They also have one grandson.

Lansinger is a retired banker from Mellon. He has been a member of the Third Order of St. Francis since 1950.

Mrs. Lansinger is a homemaker and retired from Westinghouse Electric.

The Lansingers are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
