Butler Police7:05 p.m. Tuesday — Kelly J. Hinkle, 35, of Butler was cited for retail theft after she allegedly stole a pair of Guess sunglasses, valued at about $90, from Dittman Eye Care in Butler.3:24 p.m. Tuesday — Matthew E. Maine, 22, of Butler was charged with DUI highest rate of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle after the car he allegedly was driving struck a car owned by Jack Locke of Butler that was parked along West Cunningham Street. Maine was identified by passengers in his vehicle, in which he was found sitting at the Butler City Farmers Market parking lot after the incident.6:41 a.m. Nov. 15 — Andrew D. Fleming, 37, of Butler was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, accidents involving damage to unattended property and failure to notify police of an accident after the car he allegedly was driving struck a pair of utility poles at the intersection of East Cunningham and South Monroe Streets. Fleming, who was not injured, allegedly fled on foot, but later reported to the police station.
State Police, Kittanning11:23 a.m. Wednesday — Kenneth M. Hooks, 23, of Chicora was charged with DUI and several traffic violations following a traffic stop on Tarrtown Road in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
State Police, ClarionNov. 18 — An unspecified amount of money was stolen in a burglary Saturday or Sunday at Plaza Pantry on Water Street in East Brady. The burglar forced open a window to get into the store and left through a rear door. Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call police at 814-226-1710.
