11:53 p.m. Tuesday — Danielle Leight, 43, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Hansen Avenue.In addition to DUI, police charged Leight with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, disregarding traffic lanes and an open container violation.

11:30 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Heather L. Shields, 39, of Slippery Rock struck a ditch and utility pole along Slippery Rock Road just north of Stoughton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Shields was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Oct. 27 — Nicole Buzzelli, 34, of Cabot allegedly stole 10 items from the Olympis Salon in Winfield Township. A store security camera caught her putting the items in a bag, according to a police report. The stolen property, taken between Oct. 25 and 27, is valued at $189. Buzzelli faces a charge of retail theft.

4:03 p.m. Nov. 13 — One person was hurt in a three-vehicle wreck at Route 19 and District Road in Fairview Township, Mercer County.The crash happened when a car driven by Karissa K. Armour, 21, of Fredonia and a pickup truck driven by Richard J. Neely, 52, of Greenville collided. The car continued into the back of another pickup driven by Justin K. Gadsby, 36, of Fredonia.The truck, following the collision, traveled off the road and ended in woods.A medical helicopter flew Armour to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio, with unknown injuries. She was treated and later released. She was cited for making an improper left turn.

Oct. 22 — Christopher A. Geibel, no age given, of Grove City is accused of bouncing a check to buy a $881 bow at Shooter Showcase in Scott Township. Geibel faces charges of theft by deception and bad checks.
