11:45 a.m. Monday — Amanda M. Montesano, 21, of Gibsonia was arrested after allegedly shoplifting $316 worth of clothing at the Kohl's store in Butler Crossing. She was arraigned on a charge of retail theft and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.Monday — There was a report of a window at the Butler Eye Care building on South Duffy Road that was damaged from a pellet-type gun. The vandalism happened over the weekend.

Oct. 30 — A Huffy mountain bike was stolen from a home in the 800 block of Stewart Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.

Sunday — An unknown thief stole four storm grates in Summit Township. The grates were taken between Friday and Sunday at the intersections of Hinchberger and Simon roads and Harris and Schiebel roads on Herman Road about one mile east of Schnur Road and on Schiebel Road about 100 yards east of Harris Road.The township and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation owns the grates valued at $300 each.

Tuesday — Police reported they are investigating a reported indecent assault of a 15-year-old Grove City boy at a home in Wolf Creek Township. The suspect is a 32-year-old Mercer man who authorities did not identify.
