7:30 a.m. Oct. 22 — A 15-year-old Butler girl told police that an unidentified vehicle struck her as she walked on College Street near North Monroe Street. The girl described the driver as a white man with dark hair and a dark beard. The vehicle was a dark-colored, two-door car.The girl reportedly suffered bruises to her right knee and other injuries, according to a police report. A family member took the girl to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment.
1:04 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Randi Steiger, 19, of Baden, Beaver County, crashed into a fire hydrant along Decatur Drive. Steiger suffered minor injuries. The wreck briefly closed the road.
12:30 a.m. Thursday — Charles J. Pranulis, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a one-car crash on West Liberty Road just east of Mayer Road in West Liberty. Police said Pranulis, who was found with a small amount of suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia, also faces drug charges.5:30 p.m. Tuesday — A Chicora couple face charges after they allegedly assaulted one another during an argument in a car traveling on Spiker Road in Winfield Township. Police said both suffered injuries in the altercation.Charged with simple assault and harassment are Brian S. Schuller, 41, and Alicia A. Fleeger, 43. Police also cited Schuller for driving with a suspended license.4:50 p.m. Sunday — Matthew W. Pyle, 42, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his sport utility vehicle struck a tree along Route 422 about one-half mile east of Dick Road in Franklin Township. Pyle, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.2:10 a.m. Sunday — Nicholas C. Becker, 23, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Mohawk Trail in Slippery Rock Township.
