2:15 p.m. Tuesday — Sasha M. Rucker, 18, of Pittsburgh was arrested on charges she broke into an apartment following an argument with another woman at a parking lot on Villa Drive. The initial call police got was that the suspect had a knife.When officers got there, witnesses told them that Rucker had forced her way into an apartment and damaged property inside.She later was arraigned on charges of burglary, trespass, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail.2:43 a.m. Oct. 21 — Joseph McQueen, 50, of Butler is accused of leaving the Eat 'n Park on New Castle Road without paying for his meal. McQueen also took the dinner plate with him, according to a police report. Police said he is charged with theft, receiving stolen property, theft of services and driving with a suspended license.8:38 p.m. Oct. 9 — Rebbica L. McElroy, 27, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of drugged driving on New Castle Road. A search found her with five different kinds of narcotic drugs and a large amount of currency, according to a police report.Police said McElroy faces charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unspecified traffic violations.

5:27 a.m. Tuesday — Leroy E. Ealy, 27, of Emlenton lost control of his sport utility vehicle and crashed into an embankment and traffic sign on Route 58, just north of Palmer Avenue in Foxburg. Police said the accident happened when Ealy's vehicle sustained mechanical failure of the front right wheel.State Police, Mercer7:28 p.m. Friday — One person was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Route 208 in Springfield Township.The crash happened when a pickup truck driven by Tim W. Baker, 21, of New Castle collided with a car driven by Michael J. West, 31, of Ontario, Canada. Baker, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.Police said Baker was cited for a red light violation.
