Friday — Linda L. Abbott, 58, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly took items from Friedman's and DeWalt's Health Food in Butler without paying.8:56 p.m. Tuesday — Daniel B. Martin, 34, of Butler was cited for careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly struck a no-parking sign along the 500 block of North McKean Street with his car and then fled.

Friday — Jesse John Lee Wahler, 19, of Butler was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and committing public indecency after he allegedly had for sex with a 14-year-old girl in Memorial Park on Sept. 28. His preliminary hearing is Nov. 14.

8:03 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Nicholas A. Mannella, 19, of Finleyville crashed into a tree along New Castle Road near Graham Road in Worth Township. He is cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
