6:49 p.m. Sunday — Jarrod L. Shoaf, 30, of Concord Township was arrested after police were called to the farmers market parking lot on Race Street for a reported fight. Officers found Shoaf there and learned that he was wanted for a state parole violation.A search of his car turned up suspected crack cocaine, a crack pipe and other drug contraband, according to police.Shoaf was placed in the Butler County Prison for the parole violation. He also is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.2:34 a.m. Saturday — Ryan L. Parker, 20, of Summit Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Kittanning Street. Police also cited Parker for DUI by minor, underage drinking, driving without rear lights and driving with obstructed windows.
2:28 a.m. Thursday — Andrew W. Green, 30, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he drove over several construction cones on New Castle Road where workers were painting lines on the road near the Sheetz store.
Tuesday — One person was hurt in a three-vehicle, chain-reaction accident at East Main Street and Greenwood Drive. The wreck happened when a vehicle driven by Daniel Little, 66, of Greenville rear-ended a vehicle driven by Robert Burkett, 30, of Grove City.The collision pushed Burkett's vehicle into the back of a vehicle driven by Jordyn Litman, 18, of Canton, Ohio.Burkett suffered unknown injuries. Little was cited for careless driving.
Thursday — A laptop computer and Cricket broadband connector were stolen in a burglary on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township The break-in happened between 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and 2:40 p.m. Thursday.4:18 p.m. Monday — Christopher Panko, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after his car collided with another car at Route 308 and Holyoke Road in Center Township. Mary McCandless, no age given, was the other driver.
