Butler PoliceSunday — An unknown thief stole a blue mountain bike worth $300 from a porch at a home in the 600 block of West Penn Street.
State Police, Butler2:22 a.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Denver J. Chisom, 22, of Midland, Beaver County, and Samantha L. Zander, 27, of Butler collided at Kiester and Harmony roads in Slippery Rock Township. The collision pushed Zander’s car up an embankment and into a metal fence. Chisom was cited for a stop sign violation.3 p.m. Saturday — A Mercer County couple was hurt in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.The crash happened when a car driven by Chantelle M. Beilstein, 28, of Greenville struck a minivan in a construction zone. The car spun out, hit a guardrail and rolled over on the same guardrail.Beilstein and her passenger, Randy L. Beilstein, 32, of Greenville, were taken to the Grove City Medical Center with unknown injuries. Police said Chantelle Beilstein was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Jodilynn Parks, 39, of Jamestown, Mercer County, was driving the van.Saturday — One camper was burglarized and two others vandalized at the Church of the Nazarene camp on North Road in Franklin Township. A power cord, metal pot, griddle, skillet and a small amount of money, owned by a Westmoreland County woman, were taken from the camper that was broken into.The other campers, owned by an Allegheny County woman and a Butler woman, had their power cords cut and aluminum antennas damaged.Anyone with information about the crime spree is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.12:32 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Lily M. Deasy, 19, of Moon Township, Allegheny County, rear-ended a pickup on Route 8 just north of Route 138 in Clay Township. Jeffrey D. Isbell, 21, of Rillton, Westmoreland County, was driving the pickup.3 a.m. Sept. 12 — An unknown vandal damaged a mailbox in the 100 block of St. Joe Road in Oakland Township.
State Police, Kittanning7:45 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Ashley E. Heddinger, 19, of Karns City struck a guardrail on Route 28 just north of Iron Bridge Road in South Buffalo Township. The crash happened after Heddinger apparently fell asleep behind the wheel, according to a police report. She was cited for a lane violation.6:40 a.m. Sunday — Zachary J. Wanninger, 26, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 north of the Buffalo Bridge in South Buffalo Township.3:22 p.m. Saturday — Jacob Pietrzak, 54, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 28 about one mile before the Route 422 split in North Buffalo Township.1:22 a.m. Saturday — David Miller, 26, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Colonial Road near Margaret Road in Plumcreek Township.
State Police, Mercer4:23 p.m. Wednesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Edwin L. Cracraft, 18, of New Castle rear-ended a car on Route 422 just east of State Road in Shenango Township. The crash forced the car driven by Danielle L. Stoner, 20, of New Castle into the back of a pickup truck driven by John R. McMurdy, 67, of Prospect.Cracraft was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
