Department of State lists disciplinary actions

HARRISBURG — The Department of State on Tuesday released a list of disciplinary actions taken by state regulatory boards in September. Here are some that deal with people in Butler County.

• State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers

Robert Leroy Deal, Jr., of Butler County was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $2,000, costs of investigation of $706, and complete 20 to 22 hours of remedial education courses because the board said he failed to complete an appraisal assignment within the requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, failed or refused to exercise reasonable diligence in developing an appraisal, preparing an appraisal report, or communicating an appraisal, and negligently and incompetently developed an appraisal, prepared an appraisal report, or communicated an appraisal. This ruling was issued Sept. 13.

• State Board of Medicine

Ricardo B. Raymundo III, of Harmony was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $2,475, and within six months to complete 33 hours of continuing education because the board said he failed to complete the requisite number of hours of continuing education to fulfill a requirement for the biennial reporting from Jan. 1, 2009, through Dec. 31, 2010. This ruling was issued Sept. 11.
