A-C Valley duo sets frosh records in cross-country

KC boys soccer rolls to victory

A-C Valley's cross-country future is looking brighter all the time.

For the second straight week, Falcon freshmen John Anderson and Shannon Quaill broke the school's freshman boys and girls records, respectively. The records fell during a Tuesday quadrangular against Keystone, Clarion and Clarion-Limestone.

Anderson ran a time of 19 minutes, 23 seconds to win the boys' race. Quaill's time of 23:33 was fifth overall among the girls.

A-C Valley's boys lost to Clarion 22-37 and Clarion-Limestone 20-40. Keystone did not have enough boys to post a team score.

The Falcon girls lost to C-L 25-30, Clarion 23-46 and Keystone 23-42.
