The Easlers in 1947

Lavern “Ernie” and Dolores “Dee” Easler of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage today.

Easler married the former Dolores Voit on Sept. 18, 1947, at St. Anthony’s Church in Millvale.

They have two children, Trudy Easler Banks of Connoquenessing and Rick Easler of Shaler Township.

They also have one grandson.

Easler is retired from Armour Meat Packing in Pittsburgh.

He is also a World War II veteran.

Mrs. Easler is a homemaker. She also worked for Dimlings Candy in Pittsburgh and Yettes Candy in Millvale.

The Easlers are members of St. Fidelis Parish in Meridian.
