Dorothy and Ernest Myers

Ernest and Dorothy Myers of Portersville celebrated 69 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Myers married the former Dorothy Beighley on Aug. 29, 1943, at Mountville Church in Portersville.

They have three children, Richard Myers of Rockledge, Fla., Sue Haggerty of Saxonburg and Beth Patton of Portersville.

They also have two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Myers is retired from Armco Steel after 43 years.

Mrs. Myers taught in a one-room schoolhouse and is now a retired housewife.

She is a member of Child Evangelism Fellowship.

The Myerses are members of First United Presbyterian Church in Portersville and Keenagers.
