SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Joshua M. Bender, 30, of Valencia pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed July 9. Bender was ordered to pay $319 in fines and court costs.

Maureen A. Cress, 21, of Mars waived to court charges of driving under the influence, speeding and careless driving, filed July 23 by state police.

Amber Dollar-Smith, 25, of Butler was held for court on charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed July 24 by Middlesex Township police.

Brian P. Fish, 38, of Cabot waived to court charges of DUI, filed July 9 by state police.

Anita Guerre, 52, of Butler waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed Aug. 8 by the Saxonburg Area Authority.

Scott T. Hotovec, 47, of Valencia was held for court on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, filed Aug. 12 by Middlesex Township police.

Jeffrey M. McClure Jr., 29, of Pitcarin, Allegheny County, was held for court on charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed July 31.

Aaron J. Scott, 23, of Valencia waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving at an unsafe speed, filed July 30 by Buffalo Township police.

Lynsay Ann Stewart, 33, of Emlenton, Venango County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and following too closely to another vehicle, filed May 14 by Penn Township police.

Earl F. Vogel Jr., 51, of Valencia waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related, disregarding traffic lanes and making an improper turn, filed April 13 by Penn Township police.

Michael G. Whitling, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed July 9.
