2:14 a.m. Sunday — Police recovered a bicycle near the Burger Hut II on Route 68. The owner may claim the bicycle at the police station or by calling police at 724-285-9600.10:44 a.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Luann Imhoff, 37, of Butler and a car driven by Jacqueline Alcantara, 51, of Butler collided at the intersection of Evans City Road and Artlee Avenue. Both drivers suffered unknown injuries and were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.8:53 p.m. Thursday — Stephanie McCormick, 30, and Deborah Bourne, 42, both of Harrisville each were charged with retail theft after they allegedly stole clothing from Kohl's at Butler Crossing. McCormick also was charged with false reports to law enforcement.2:30 p.m. Aug. 16 — Brian Everly, 40, of Karns City was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a Nikon digital camera from an exam room at BMH Dermatology.
12:37 a.m. Monday — Two juvenile males were seen attempting to break into a residence in the 200 block of Jackson Street. Both boys were described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall with thin builds. One had blond hair and was wearing khaki shorts and a white T-shirt. The other had dark brown hair, and was wearing dark blue jeans and a white T-shirt.Anyone with information can call police at 724-458-7925.Monday — A black Samsung cell phone was found in the parking lot of the Penn Grove Hotel on Pine Street. To identify and claim the cell phone, call police at 724-458-7925.8:30 a.m. Saturday — Timothy M. Welton, 27, and Samantha R. Welton, 26, both of Grove City, were charged with simple assault and harassment following a domestic dispute at a Cedar Avenue residence.Aug. 16 — A Honda CRV parked along Tidball Avenue was damaged by a large rock. 5:43 p.m. Friday — A black Ford Mustang struck two mailboxes along Jones Road near Critchlow Lane in Jefferson Township, then fled east on Jones Road. Anyone with information can call police at 724-284-8100.5 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Joseph A. Ross, 21, of Freeport struck a tree along Stark Road near Hidden Hill Road in Clinton Township. Ross suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
2:08 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Thomas M. Micco, 26, of Slippery Rock and a van driven by Joy M. Measel, 30, of New Castle collided at the intersection of Interstate 376 and West State Street in Union Township, Lawrence County. No one was injured. Micco was cited for failure to obey traffic signals.
Summer 2011 — State police recovered a GPS system and several sets of keys believed to have been stolen from parked cars in Buffalo Township, Butler County, last summer. To identify and claim the items, contact police at 724-543-2011.
July 11 — North Country Brewing Co. in Slippery Rock was cited for selling or making available alcohol to minors. The LCB's public news release did not give details of the incident.
