Robert I. Staab, 81, of Richland Township, Allegheny County, passed away Saturday.

He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Eileen C. (Casson) Staab; father of Kathleen (Donald) Bryant, Mary Bernadette (William) Miele, Joseph (Adele) Staab, Cynthia Hovan and Diane (John) Ward; brother of Roseanne (Michael) Sirianni and Paul (Dorothy) Staab; grandfather of Joshua (Elyse) Miele, Zachary and Austin Miele, Kathleen Staab and Amber and Shawn Ward.

Mr. Staab was a member of the St. Richard Church and the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He volunteered at Windsor Place.

STAAB — The family of Robert I. Staab, who passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, 724-443-1505. A Mass of Christian burial will be in the St. Richard Church, Richland Township, on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Pittsburgh, 212 Ninth St., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
