2:10 p.m. Monday — An unidentified large truck with dual wheels struck a utility pole at West New Castle Street and Eighth Avenue and did not stop. The crash splintered the pole and snapped the guide wire.1:59 a.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Jaloyn R. Fockler, 43, of Butler and a car driven by Susan M. Notareschi, 56, of Butler Township collided at Main and Cunningham streets. Notareschi, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered unknown injuries.

Sunday — A thief smashed the driver's side windows of two vehicles parked at Alameda Park and stole a Coach purse containing a Vetta Bradley wallet from one the vehicles.Both vehicles were parked in the overflow parking lot behind the paved upper lot. The vandalism and theft happened between 1 and 3 p.m.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

Monday — A pink/white iVibe headset and pink Philips MP3 player were found at the Grove City Memorial Park on West Man Street. The owner can claim the property at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.7:28 p.m. Saturday — Police answering an alarm at Cooper Industrial Commons complex on Lincoln Avenue found a boy inside the facility. The 15-year-old boy was cited for trespass.Saturday — A Craftsman lawn mower was stolen from the front of the Ace Hardware store on West Main Street. The mower was taken between 8 p.m. Friday and 8:45 a.m. Saturday.11:19 p.m. Aug. 14 — Shawn R. McNulty, 28, of Grove City was arrested on a domestic relations warrant following a traffic stop. He also was cited for driving with an expired registration.Aug. 14 — A vehicle overnight was broken into in the 700 block of Terrace Avenue. A police report did not say if an property was stolen.Aug. 12 — An unidentified vehicle struck a cement curb at North Center and Erie streets. The vehicle damaged a 6-foot-long section of the curb. The unknown driver did not stop.Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Aug. 12 — A small, black nylon work bag and a black and silver snake print leather wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of North Broad Street. The theft happened Aug. 11 or 12.

6:57 p.m. Monday — Sandra L. Stewart, 59, of Evans City was injured when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle and struck a guardrail at the Interstate 79 off-ramp to the Cranberry Connection in Cranberry Township. Stewart, who was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, was cited for a lane violation.6:50 a.m. Monday — Holly A. Ehrman, 33, of Butler was hurt when a pickup truck rear-ended the SUV she was driving on Route 68 just west of Double Road in Connoquenessing Township. Ehrman, who wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.Douglas W. Morin, 24, of Butler, the pickup driver, was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.Sunday — An unknown thief stole a black backpack from a locked vehicle at the Trader Horn parking lot on Route 422 in Franklin Township. The suspect smashed a rear window to get into the vehicle between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.9:05 a.m. Aug. 9 — One person was hurt in a rear-end collision on Route 38 in Center Township.The crash happened when a sport utility vehicle driven by Tiffany L. Digiacomo, 24, of Petrolia struck the back of a car driven by Sarah M. Lind, 32, of Franklin, Venango County. Lind, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.Digiacomo was cited for following too closely to another vehicle.10:52 p.m. July 31 — Rachyl A. Johnson, 38, of Butler was injured when she lost control of her SUV and struck a guardrail on Chicora Road just southwest of Wind Walker Lane in Oakland Township.Johnson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries. She was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

7:25 p.m. Thursday — Walter M. Wojichowski, 33, of Harmony was arrested following an apparent case of road rage during which he allegedly pointed a handgun at another motorist on Route 19 near Pleasant Hill Road.Police suspect Wojichowski was tailgating another vehicle when the driver of that vehicle, occupied by four men, slowed down. Later, while passing the other vehicle on the left, he brandished a revolver. The other driver made a U-turn to get away. No one was hurt.Wojichowski is charged with carrying a firearm without a permit, a felony. Additionally, he is charged with terroristic threats, four counts each of reckless endangerment and simple assault, driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.
