The Becks in 1952

George and Sheila Beck of Chicora will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family gathering.

Beck married the former Sheila McCollough on Aug. 22, 1952, at First Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have three children, Pamela Miller and George Beck, both of Chicora, and Daniel Beck of Atlanta.

They also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Beck is retired from Penreco. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Mrs. Beck is a homemaker.

The Becks are members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.
