11:59 a.m. Tuesday — Driver Lee A. Thompson, 19, of Butler and a 15-year-old Butler boy in his car each suffered unknown injuries when the vehicle struck a concrete bridge support at the intersection of Center and Walker avenues. Both Thompson and his passenger were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.
4:11 p.m. Wednesday — Thomas Bergbigler Jr., 39, of Butler was charged with criminal mischief after he allegedly threw a wheelbarrow at a truck during an argument in the driveway of his residence, causing about $1,700 worth of damage to the truck.8:45 p.m. Tuesday — Nikola Skrak, 27, of Butler was charged with providing false ID to law enforcement and possession of drug paraphernalia following the traffic stop of a vehicle in which Skrak was a passenger.
3:45 a.m. Friday — Jeremiah A. Hillman, 36, of Cabot was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted a person at a residence along Grey Avenue in Windfield, Pa.9:30 p.m. Wednesday — An SUV driven by Tucker J. Preston, 18, of East Brady struck a mailbox and rolled over on Chicora Road near Glenford Drive in Fairview Township. Preston was not injured and was cited for driving at unsafe speed.8 a.m. Wednesday — Someone stole a 8-foot-by-10-foot billboard sign atop a steel tower along Winfield Road in Winfield Township that belonging to Samuel C. Brosenitsch of Cabot between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.4:30 p.m. Tuesday — Someone stole two tires belonging to Earl Miller of Butler from the back yard of a residence on Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.4:15 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Ryan L. Eddy, 44, of Boyers crashed into a utility pole and a traffic sign before sliding down an embankment along Branchton Road near Windy Road in Cherry Township. Eddy was not injured and was cited for driving at unsafe speed.8:30 p.m. Monday — An SUV driven by Treva R. Schenck, 29, of Karns City crashed into a mailbox and a utility pole before rolling onto its passenger side, then sliding into a house, causing minor damage to the house along Chicora Road near McFadden Road in Summit Township. Schenck suffered minor injuries and a 6-year-old girl in the vehicle suffered a minor injury. Both were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.7 a.m. Monday — Police are investigating several mailboxes smashed along Daubenspeck Road in Parker Township between 7 p.m. Aug. 5 and Monday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.July 20 — Someone used a Dollar Bank ATM card belonging to Blace Shaffer of Butler to make several purchases without her permission between July 16 and July 20.July 17 — Someone scratched the paint along the driver's side of a car owned by Kaylee Spahn, no address given, while the car was parked at a house along Moran Road in Summit Township between 9 p.m. July 16 and 11 a.m. July 17.
