4:54 p.m. Friday — Lori Herald, 49, of East Butler lost control of her car traveling through a large puddle of water and struck a guardrail.2:05 p.m. Friday — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Gregory Doty, 51, of Butler rear-ended another car on Route 68 near Oakdale Road. Doty and Roy Householder, 66, of Beaver Falls, Beaver County, the other driver, suffered unknown injuries. Police cited Doty for driving at an unsafe speed.1:46 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Edgar Hoehn, 82, and Kevin Karch, 34, both of Butler collided at McQuistion and Old Plank roads.

Monday — Someone stole Pennsylvania license plate HCF6745 off a vehicle on State Street.8:02 a.m. Sunday — Cameron A. Marlowe, 19, of Mercer was arrested after allegedly taking a bicycle from a home in the 100 block of North Broad Street. The bike is worth $200. Marlowe is charged with theft.12:10 p.m. Friday — A car driven by John Williams, 21, of Southern Shores, N.C., rear-ended a sport utility vehicle on West Main Street near Memorial Park Drive. The collision pushed the SUV driven by Whitney Norris, 17, of Grove City into the back of a car driven by Nicole Fleming, 25, of Grove City.Police cited Williams for careless driving.Friday — A car driven by Donna Urey, 64, of Slippery Rock struck the back of an SUV in the 1200 block of West Main Street. Wendy Shaw, 44, of Grove City was driving the SUV.

Monday — Police reported they are investigating a case of suspected child sexual abuse in Madison Township in which a 14-year-old girl sent photos and live video feeds of herself in various states of undress and engaged in sex acts. The alleged crimes occurred over the past two months. Police did not say if they have any suspects.

7:38 a.m. Monday — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash at Frew Road and Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The drivers, Timothy D. Jones, 18, and Ryan Tammaro, 33, both of Ellwood City, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts. Police said Jones was cited for a stop sign violation.
