11:10 a.m. Friday — James V. Johnson, 43, of Butler was charged with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop on South Chestnut Street. His passenger Justin W. Brown, 24, of Pittsburgh was arrested on a warrant from the Duquesne Police Department.1:54 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle owned by Paula M. McKitten of Butler was struck by a hit-and-run driver while parked along Spruce Street, denting the driver's side and knocking off the rearview mirror.
2:42 a.m. Friday — Someone drove through a yard along the 200 block of Grandview Boulevard. The suspect vehicle likely has damage to the front right bumper from striking a metal object. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.4:22 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Chad Ross, 31, of Renfrew and a vehicle driven by Leroy Steiner, 19, of Butler collided at the intersection of Hindman Road and Butler Crossing. Ross was cited for a stop sign violation.
2:20 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Shawn R. Carr, 29, of Butler, a tractor trailer driven by Samuel C. Duncan, 56, of Kittanning and a pickup truck driven by Joseph S. Repucci, 64, of Tarentum collided on Saxonburg Boulevard near Brewer Road in Clinton Township. Carr was cited for driving on roads laned for traffic.6:30 p.m. Tuesday — An SUV driven by Kenneth J. McGuire, 64, of Sarver and a car driven by Andrew D. Rockar, 18, of Saxonburg collided at the intersection of Route 228 and Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township. Rockar and his passengers, a 14-year-old boy and a 9-year-old boy, both from Saxonburg, each suffered minor injuries. McGuire was cited for failure to obey traffic control signals.
