Butler Police11:39 a.m. July 10 — A vehicle owned by Miles C. Confer of Butler was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle while parked in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. July 10, damaging the passenger side mirror.

Butler Township Police4:18 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Karen Wheatall, 24, of Butler crashed into a utility pole on North Main Street hill. No injuries were reported.7:41 p.m. Wednesday — A motorcycle ridden by Alexander Crawford, 20, of Natrona Heights crashed into a brick wall at Butler Intermediate High School. Crawford, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital, then transferred by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was listed in critical condition as of Friday.3:43 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by David Oliverio, 47, of Butler and a car driven by Paul Frenchak, 58, of Butler collided on Mercer Road. Both men suffered unknown injuries and were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital.

Grove City Police12:50 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Katrina D. Greer, 20, of Mercer and a vehicle driven by Randy R. Devereaux, 51, of Cambridge Springs collided at the intersection of West Main Street and Industrial Drive. Greer and her passenger, Brittni Heckathorn, 19, of Mercer, each suffered minor injuries. Greer was cited for a red light violation.Thursday — Police reported that a thief sometime the past week made off with a gas can, utility knife, and tape measure from a garage in the 200 block of Edgewood Avenue.9:27 a.m. Tuesday — Police arrested Adrian Beck, 23, of Grove City on a warrant issued to Sharon police. After searching Beck, borough officers found suspected marijuana in her purse.She was placed in the Mercer County Jail on the warrant. She also is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.In an unrelated case, the police the next day filed drug charges after officers on July 3 allegedly found suspected heroin at her home in the 300 block of College Avenue. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.Tuesday — A global positioning system device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Blaine Street. The property was taken Monday or Tuesday.In another theft Monday or Tuesday, a wallet was stolen from a car in the 200 block of North Center Street.Police remind residents and visitors to lock their vehicles, noting that there has been a recent increase in thefts from vehicles.Tuesday — Several bicycles between Sunday and Tuesday were turned in to the Grove City Police Department. The owners can claim the bikes at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.July 13 — A wallet was stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Woodland Avenue.June 14 — Several DVDs and Sony PlayStation 2 video games were reportedly stolen from an apartment in the 200 block of South Broad Street.

State Police, KittanningWednesday — A burglar stole medication from a home on Quarry Road in North Buffalo Township. The break-in happened between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 11 p.m. Wednesday.
