The Voltzes in 1952

Janet and Hubert Voltz of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Voltz married the former Janet Timmons on July 17, 1952, at the Middlesex Presbyterian Church.

They have five children, David Voltz of Pittsburgh, Richard Voltz of Raleigh, N.C., Terry Voltz of Smithfield, Va., Kristy Love of Evans City and Robert Voltz of Butler.

They also have 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and another on the way.

Voltz is retired from Slippery Rock University, where he was a professor in the math department.

Mrs. Voltz is a housewife.

The Voltzes are members of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, where they serve Meals on Wheel.Mrs. Voltz serves as a deacon and Voltz sings in the choir.
