Saturday — Murdicks Auto Parts on Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township reported the theft of gasoline from a parked vehicle between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.8:59 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Joleen Shea, 33, of Saegertown in Crawford County and an SUV driven by Michael Shaffer, 18, of Youngstown, Ohio, collided sideways at a median crossover along Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Shea and her passenger, an 8-year-old boy, received minor injuries. Shea was cited for following too closely.9 p.m. Friday — Cecil Steadman, age unavailable, of Hurricane, W.Va., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.Thursday — MDS Energy of Kittanning reported $2,000 in damage to heavy equipment it is storing in a field off Leslie Road in Forward Township between June 22 and 28. Along with moderate damage to vehicle parts, the equipment was spray painted. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.11:30 a.m. June 20 — A pickup driven by Richard Jablonoski, 55, of Leechburg in Armstrong County struck the rear of a car driven by William Abersold, 30, of Butler that was stopped in traffic on Route 228 in Buffalo Township. The impact pushed the car into the rear of a pickup driven by David Young, 51, of Pittsburgh. No injuries were reported. Police report the brake system on Jablonoski's pickup failed, causing the accident.June 20 — Township road signs at two Jefferson Township intersections, Ohara and Frazer roads and West Jefferson and Bullcreek roads, were run over by a vehicle between 7 p.m. June 19 and 8 a.m. June 20. Damages estimated at $200.6:30 a.m. June 20 — A car driven by Meghan Heinle, 20, of Cabot traveled off Bear Creek Road in Winfield Township into a ditch and hit large rocks. The driver was cited for not driving on the right side of the road.June 18 — Joshua Yates, 39, of Summit Township reported the theft of a 2010 Wildfire dirt bike, model WFG 494 DBS, with a 4-stroke engine and blue plastics and white number plates, from his property at 117 Chicora Road between 1 p.m. June 13 and 1:30 p.m. June 18. The dirt bike is valued at $800.

Sunday — Leslie Price, 40, of Grove City reported the theft of her minivan, which was taken Saturday night and recovered at a housing plan in New Castle.9:55 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Joan Heasley, 62, of Mercer struck the rear of an SUV driven by Brenda Walton, 65, of Slippery Rock while it was stopped on Route 19 in Springfield Township to make a left turn. Heasley was cited for careless driving.June — Jared Broeman of Grove City reported a case of access device fraud as his account was being used without permission. The investigation is ongoing.

10:20 a.m. May 23 — Police are investigating an alleged attempted sexual assault at Union High School in Toby Township involving an 18-year-old male suspect of Rimersburg, who was not identified, and a 17-year-old Clarion girl.

11:34 a.m. Friday — An SUV driven by a 17-year-old McMurray boy and a pickup driven by Frank Angert, 64, of Chicora collided at the intersection of Route 68 and Queenstown Road in Bradys Bend Township. The teenager was cited for turning left into oncoming traffic.
