4:33 p.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Ashley Brazil, 24, of North Arberdeen, Miss., and Melissa Foley, 44, of Callery collided at West Jefferson Street and Wagner Avenue. Brazil's car following the collision crashed into a car driven by Tracey McCabe, 39, of Butler.

9:57 p.m. Wednesday — A 16-year-old girl was allegedly drunk when she caused an obscenity-laced disturbance at the Sheetz store on Freeport Road. Police did not identify the girl, who later was released to her mother.Police cited the youth for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking.

Wednesday — Police filed criminal charges against Damitri Seelbaugh, 20, of Grove City after he was found about 1:30 p.m. May 14 in a vehicle occupied by a small child while passengers were smoking marijuana. Seelbaugh was charged with child endangerment and corruption of minorsWednesday — Richard Clark, 33, of New Castle is accused of stealing nearly $3,000 from his former employer, Flynn's Tires on West Main Street.Police said Clark, who is charged with felony theft, stole $2,384.58 in March when he worked at the store.

2:35 p.m. Thursday — A motorcyclist was hurt in a crash on Bonniebook Road in Summit Township. Police did not immediately file a report and the name of the injured driver, who was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, was not immediately available.The Herman Volunteer Fire Department, Butler Ambulance Service and East Butler Ambulance assisted police at the scene.Emergency crews remained there until 4:30 p.m.

11:50 a.m. Thursday — One person was hurt when a car driven by Virginia M. Smolen, 72, of Kittanning and a sport utility vehicle driven by Lucky Lynn Giron, 21, of Ford City collided at Routes 66 and 128 near Riverside Market in Manor Township. Smolen, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.1:10 a.m. Thursday — Hope E. Dosch, 23, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle struck a utility pole and gas meter along Freeport Road in North Buffalo Township.1:30 p.m. Wednesday — Pickup trucks driven by James D. Reich, 50, of Butler and Douglas McMillen, 35, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, collided on Route 28, a little less than one mile south of exit 16 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County.The crash happened when a piece of wood fell off a trailer that Reich's pickup was hauling. He abruptly applied his brakes, police said, which caused McMillen's truck to hit the back of Reich's pickup.

5:05 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Staci L. Dylewski, 37, of Sewickley, Allegheny County, and a minivan driven by Kary M. White, 28, of Mercer collided at Routes 208 and 258 in Springfield Township. Police said Dylewski was cited for running a red light.

Monday — Someone damaged two mailboxes along Eckert Bridge Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The vandalism happened between 1 a.m. Sunday and 1:27 p.m. Sunday. Damage was estimated at $100.
