9:30 p.m. Saturday — Christopher C. Geibel, 34, of Butler was arrested at the police station on a fugitive warrant in connection with a misdemeanor marijuana possession case that city police filed in February 2011.Geibel was placed in the Butler County Prison on $2,500 bail following his arrest.
10:25 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Cory M. Fry, 19, of Butler crashed through a wire cattle fence, hit an embankment and ended partially in a creek along Troutman Road in Concord Township. Police said Fry was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Monday — An unknown burglar stole unspecified items worth $7,340 from a storage facility on Oak Grove Lane in Mercer Township. An abandoned vehicle at the storage building also was damaged in the burglary that happened between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.Saturday — An unknown trespasser walked into a house on Boyers Road in Harrisville and turned on a computer and an outside light. Nothing was apparently taken in the incident that happened between 6:45 and 9:30 p.m.
Monday — An unknown identity thief used a Grove City woman's lost or stolen credit card at two stores in Pine Township.
Tuesday — An unknown vandal or vandals shot six paint balls at a window at the St. Hermon Presbyterian Church on Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The window that was on the church's east side was damaged in the vandalism that occurred between 11 p.m. Monday and 6:25 p.m. Tuesday.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 724-598-2211.12:30 a.m. Saturday — A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Mount Hermon Church and Frew Mill roads in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
