Walt and Jean Laskey

Walt and Jean Laskey of Renfrew celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Hardwood Cafe.

Laskey married the former Jean Ordy on June 23, 1962, in Oakland, Md.

They have four children, Jeffrey Laskey of Cranberry, Joanne Duncan of Evans City and Jennifer Pepmeyer and Jayni Kaufman, both of Renfrew.

They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Laskey is the retired director of business development at Heckett.

Mrs. Laskey worked as a computer operator at Penreco.

The Laskeys are members of St. Fidelis Church in Meridian.

After retiring, they fostered 15 infants through the Children’s Home in Pittsburgh.
