Heitzer 90th birthday
Hubert “Hubie” Heitzer of East Butler will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at his home, 151 Tenth St., East Butler. The family requests no gifts.
Heitzer was born on June 27, 1922, in Butler. He married the late former Betty Sintz on Aug. 17, 1944, at St. Peters Church in Butler.
He has ten children, Larry Heitzer of Emlenton, Rosemary Heitzer of East Butler, Patty Beck of Chicora, Rita Pritts of Renfrew, Emily Heitzer of Evans City, Liz Rosellini of Boyers, Theresa Deal of Kittanning and Tony Heitzer, Martha West and Mike Heitzer, all of Butler.
He also has 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Heitzer is a retired self-employed carpenter.
He is a member of the East Butler Firemen’s Club and St. Wendelin Catholic Church.
