James and Sheran Laidlaw

James and Sheran Laidlaw of Saxonburg will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the J-Barn Country Inn in Sarver and a trip to Wheeling, W.Va.

Laidlaw married the former Sheran Harbison on June 8, 1962, in the United Presbyterian Church in Tarentum.

They have two children, Lori Roberts and James Laidlaw Jr., both of Saxonburg. They also have five grandchildren.

Laidlaw worked at Pullman Standard, Don Martin's Lernerville Speedway and St. John's Medical Center.

Mrs. Laidlaw worked at the South Butler School district and retired from Penn United Technologies.The Laidlaws are members of Cabot United Methodist Church, Cabot.
