Butler Township2:59 a.m. Friday — Police found a boat motor laying along the westbound lanes of Route 422. The owner can claim the motor, which is in its original package, at the police station.9:45 a.m. Monday — Jarron Williams, 29, and Jessica Shedio, 33, both of Lyndora, were charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy after allegedly stealing scrap metal from the Highfield area and selling it to local recycling centers.
State Police, Butler5:24 p.m. Friday — A car driven by a 16-year-old Butler girl crossed the center line and collided with an SUV driven by Joseph Minton, 60, of Saxonburg on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township. Debra Minton, 59, of Saxonburg, a passenger in the SUV, was taken by Saxonburg Ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.2:26 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Alexander Smith, 29, of Slippery Rock crossed Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township and hit an embankment, causing the vehicle to slide 112 feet on its passenger side. No injuries were reported. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.Friday — The company Foreign Tech on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township reported paint splattered on the building’s vinyl siding from a paintball gun between 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.4:45 p.m. Thursday — Randy Smith, age unavailable, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Henricks Road in Center Township.
State Police, ClarionTuesday — The Redbank Valley Trails Association reported damage done to the gate at the trail entrances in Madison Township and Hawthorn borough, where a section of plastic fence also was cut. Anyone with information is to call 814-226-1710.
State Police, Mercer9:07 a.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Shanna Adams, 34, of Grove City hit a tree off Airport Road in Liberty Township and traveled roughly 100 feet down an embankment. Adams, who received minor injuries, was cited for not having her insurance card.
State Police, Kittanning11:10 p.m. Thursday — Arnold J. Delong, 29, whose residence was unavailable, was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 422 in West Franklin Township.Wednesday — Ronald Radaker, 39, of Chicora reported an attempted burglary on property he owns at 120 Rohrbach Road in Sugarcreek Township.March 1 — Thomas McKee, 79, of West Franklin Township reported the theft of three guns from his unlocked cabinet at 1087 Worthington-Slate Lick Road between May 1, 2011, and March 1. The guns’ models were not specified.
Grove City Police8:50 p.m. Thursday — Toni Lynn Moore, 52, of Grove City was charged with driving under the influence, having an open container of alcohol and reckless driving after her vehicle crashed into a residence at the corner of Elm and West Main streets. She received minor injuries.5:45 p.m. Tuesday — Jerry Brandon Hobbs III, 41, of Wichita Falls, Texas, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident involving a juvenile at 306 W. Main St.
