County's CDC set to move
The Community Development Corporation of Butler County is moving from one office to another in the Pullman Center Business Park.
As of July 1, the CDC will moved from 112 Woody Drive to 111 Woody Drive, into the Pullman Commons Building with Butler Health System and Apria Healthcare.
Ken Raybuck, the CDC’s executive director, said Monday the agency’s current office will be used by the Housing and Redevelopment authorities of Butler County.
Housed next door to the CDC, the county offices need additional space as their staffs have grown, while the CDC has downsized to economize its projects, Raybuck said.
“So we don’t need as much space and they need more,” Raybuck said. “It works out pretty well for everyone.”
The CDC Board approved the switch at its May 9 meeting.
The county offices also house the Butler Redevelopment Authority.
