Wednesday — An aluminum screen door and several pieces of steel pipe were stolen overnight from the yard of a house under renovation in the 400 block of East Jefferson Street.
1:40 a.m. Wednesday — A 16-year-old boy faces criminal charges stemming from a domestic dispute at a North Broad Street home. The boy, who police did not identify, is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.Wednesday — Police charged Frederick D Reash, 56, of Grove City for illegal gun possession in connection with an Aug. 8, 2011, warrant search of his home in the 500 block of North Broad Street.The search turned up a .22-caliber rifle. Reash is prohibited from having a gun due to a past criminal conviction.Monday — Derek J. Hedglin, 30, of Grove City allegedly took his roommate's 2008 Suzuki SX4 without the owner's permission. Hedglin is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving with a suspended license and harassment.Monday — A purse was stolen from a red Chevrolet Blazer parked at Memorial Park on West Main Street. The vehicle was broken into between 3:30 and 6 p.m.Saturday — About $48 in currency and coins was stolen from a room in Kettler Hall at Grove City College. The theft happened between 5 and 9:45 p.m.11:45 p.m. May 2 — Nine young adults were cited for defiant trespass after they were caught on the roof of a building at Pennsylvania Equipment on Lincoln Avenue.Charged are Leslie Molnar, 20, of Hudson, Ohio; Victoria Baker, 19, of Fairfax, Va.; Jonathan Suchan, 21, of Pittsburgh; Jared Billings, 19, of Sewickley, Allegheny County; Wesley Suplit, 18, of Stow, Ohio; Lauren Lewis, 19, of Sewickley; Emily Swanson, 19, of Wattsburg, Erie County; Leah McConville, 22, of Wexford, and Jerrah Thomas, 19, of Butler.April 27 — A thief stole a golf bag full of clubs from the porch of a home in the 500 block of Tidball Avenue. The stolen items included a blue and white Ogio Edge golf bag along with a set of Taylor Made RAC irons, Nike Sumo driver with Proforce V2 shaft, Odyssey putter and Slazenger hybrid 3 and 4 irons.The theft happened between April 20 and 27.April 22 — A car was damaged in a suspected case of road rage at South Broad and East Pine streets and again at East Pine and South Center Street. The unknown suspect got out of his red Chevrolet truck and damaged a gray Ford Fusion.Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.
2 p.m. Wednesday — An unknown driver in a Dodge Ram pickup truck struck another pickup and drove away following the crash on Route 528 just south of Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township. The suspected hit-and-run driver is described as a white man. Rodney J. Kniess, 56, of Evans City was driving the truck that was hit.10 a.m. Wednesday — Two boys were hurt during an altercation at Karns City High School in Fairview Township. The boys, a 17-year-old from Karns City and a 16-year-old from East Brady, suffered minor injuries. Police did not identify either student.Both boys are charged in juvenile court with simple assault and harassment.Wednesday — A thief stole keys from the ignitions of three tractors at a farm on Reibold Road in Forward Township. The theft happened between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.Tuesday — A 5-year-old boy is out of $40 after a suspected thief broke into his piggy bank at a McGregor Road home in Clay Township. Police did not identify the suspect in the theft that occurred between Friday and Tuesday.Tuesday — A thief stole $60 in currency from two offices at the New Haven Court retirement community in Center Township. The theft happened between 9:30 a.m. and 1:05 p.m.
