10:12 p.m. Sunday — Derrick M. Johnson, 23, of McKeesport, Allegheny County, was caught with a bag of suspected marijuana following a traffic stop on Hansen Avenue.Police said officers stopped Johnson's car for a traffic violation and found a scale and plastic baggie containing marijuana in the car's center console. The suspected marijuana weighed 18.2 grams, according to a police report.Johnson is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as driving with a suspended license and with suspended registration.6:36 p.m. April 29 — Todd A. Reed, 32, of Summit Township allegedly passed two counterfeit $20 bills at the Dollar General store on Main Street. Police charged Reed with forgery.
9:54 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Ryan Bergbigler, 24, of Butler struck the curb and a light pole on Campus Lane just south of the entrance at the Butler County Vocational-Technical School. Police said Bergbigler was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.2:22 p.m. Thursday — A student was caught with suspected marijuana at the Butler County Vocational-Technical School. The suspect, a 17-year-old girl, is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police did not identify the girl.
7:10 a.m. Monday — Cars driven by Brian L. Rayburn, 42, of Connoquenessing and Joseph K. Hartnett, 27, of Butler collided at Routes 68 and Old Route 68 in Connoquenessing. Police said Rayburn was cited for a stop sign violation.4:05 a.m. Monday — Matthew Perella, 21, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 108 and Arrowhead Drive in Slippery Rock Township.11:20 p.m. Sunday — Sean P. Dolan, 51, was arrested after allegedly assaulting his 17-year-old son during a domestic dispute at their Milheim Drive home in Center Township. Dolan was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail.
1:25 a.m. Saturday — Michael J. Alderson, 34, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Tower Road and Lucas Circle in Pine Township.
